4″ REMODEL AIRTIGHT HOUSING NON-IC

This 4″ low voltage airtight aluminum housing is rated for non-insulation contact. This remodel housing is also suitable for new construction in both residential and commercial applications. Features thermal protector guards and IDEAL push-in wire connectors for easy installation.

  • Airtight housing limits the exchange of air between ceiliing plenum and heated/cooled areas.
  • Transformer includes integral thermal protector, guards against improper lamping and misuse of installation materials.
  • Uses low voltage 20W - 50W MR-16 or JC type lamps (12V) (not included).
  • Class H 50W transformer, step down from 120V to 12V.
  • Use dimmers specifically designed for low voltage magnetic transformers.
  • 4½” height allows use in 2” x 6” joist construction.
